We hope that before coming to this page,
you have already gone through the page - "What
is the Vjyotish index?". If you have not gone
through that document yet, we would advise you to go
through it now. From that page, you would be able to
understand how these indices may identify the bullish and bearish periods of
various
areas of your life and indicate the turning points in
those areas individually.
|
Vjyotish
indices are horoscope specific. They are as unique for each
person as the one's finger prints are. They are not Moon-sign
or Sun-sign based general predictions. The index values are
calculated for each person individually through a complicated
astrological model. |
 |
Besides viewing computed daily Vjyotish index values as a graph (index) for a particular (single) aspect of your life, index values of several related life-aspects may also be viewed simultaneously to have a bird's eye-view of astrological signatures concerning various involved issues which must be looked into while you are seeking the divine guidance with a specific object in your mind.
You may also specify your own astrological parameters under
"Tailor made Vjyotish index" option.
|
For example, suppose, you are planning to enter into a major business deal. It would be prudent to check several
other related issues, astrologically - like your bargaining power, your power of judgment, discrimination power and rationality, steadiness of your mind, fear of deception and fraud in the deal, obstacles possibility and possibility of financial gains through the proposed deal. In this case, it would be better to view
relevant Vjyotish indices as a
group.
The "Vjyotish index" marked push button in main menu
carries you to the program screen where you have
option to draw Vjyotish indices in various modes. Click
here to view the program screen showing these options.
Choose
one of these index mode through push-button. |
|
The
Vjyotish indices may be drawn in following four modes. |
| 1. |
View
comparative daily results for a
particular (single) life aspect, you
are most interested in, as a graph
(index). |
| 2. |
View
Vjyotish results, concerning various
involved issues which must be looked into while you are seeking the divine
guidance with a specific object in your mind,
in non-graphical mode. |
| 3. |
Have
a
comparative quick glance over several
(multiple) related issues, in
graphical mode. |
| 4. |
Draw
your own tailor-made Vjyotish index by
providing your own
astrological parameters and weightages. |
|
|
|
Here
follows the details of each of these index modes:
|
| 1. |
| Vjyotish
index for a "Single life
aspect"
|
|
View the
daily ups and downs in a very specific aspect/ area of
your life in graphic format as the net conclusion of several
Jyotish parameters. Hundreds of Vjyotish indices are available
representing subtlest life
aspects.
When
you opt for this mode, you are required to choose a particular
aspect of your life, from a list of
major life aspects. Each of these major
life-aspect is further sub-divided into several
subtle life-aspects.
For example,
if you choose major life-aspect -
"Wealth, money, business, occupation and
property", it
is further sub-divided into 15 finer aspects.
In similar way, other major life-aspects are
also sub-divided into several subtle
life-aspects.
The chosen Vjyotish index will be drawn for that
particular "single life-aspect" and you will be able to view
that particular index for the desired period. The typical look
and feel of the various Vjyotish indices, displaying results
for a fortnight, is as shown below:
Vjyotish
can draw several hundred such indices, representing various
aspects of your life. As you may see, the format of this
report is most simple and still able to convey the conclusion
of very complicated astrological principles with the help
of a coloured bar (either red or
green)
per day only. The length of the red or
green index
bar shows the possible quantum of the possible
result. For details on this aspect, please
read "How
to interpret a Vjyotish index"
section.
To interpret the astrological meaning of these horizontal
"red" and "green" bars, please read
chapter
"How
to interpret, Vjyotish indexes".
The
Vjyotish indices, as such or its quantitative
analysis, may also be printed as simple text files if you ever need a
hard-copy of the same. There are two push
buttons at the bottom of the index screen
(displaying results for a fortnight at a
time), marked "Analyze"
and "DiskFile/Print".
Push one of these buttons and you will get the
report shown in a Notepad window. For viewing
results of next fortnight, push "Next"
button and for going to previous fortnight,
push "Previous"
button. (see
a sample screen showing all these buttons)
|
|
| 2. |
| Relevant
Vjyotish indices as a group |
|
Have a bird's eye-view of astrological signatures concerning various
involved issues which must be looked into while you are seeking the divine
guidance with a specific object in your mind. The reports are non-graphic
and on daily basis.
Each screen displays results of a single day
for various
involved issues. The date is shown at the top
of the screen. The results may also be printed as simple text
file. Use push button, provided at the bottom
of the screen, marked "Print".
The report will be printed to a text file and
would be shown in a Notepad window. For
viewing results of next date, push "Next"
button and for going to previous date, push
"Previous"
button. (see
a sample screen showing all these buttons)
|
|
| 3. |
| Vjyotish
indices for "Multiple life
aspects"
|
|
Get
date-wise astrological signatures for a group
of related life aspects/areas simultaneously.
This option provides you the facility of
comparative quick glance over relevant
indices.
The program will calculate the "maximum possible" and
"minimum possible" values for each of the index
included in a particular group. Each of these index has its own varying number of astrological
constituents (i.e. signifying house and planets etc.) and
therefore, the maximum and minimum values for each of these
index is also totally different. The program compares the net
value of a date for a particular index against it's own
minimum and maximum possible values and shows
the compared results as
"poor",
"inadequate", "fair", "good" or
"excellent", as the case may be. For example, if the
day's net index value is near to the "minimum possible
value", the horizontal bar will be drawn in "red
colour" reaching up to the
point where "poor" is written on the upper ruler. On
the contrary, if the day's net index value is near to the
"maximum possible value", the horizontal bar will be
drawn in "green colour"
reaching up to the point where "excellent" is written
on the upper ruler. The values in between are adjusted
accordingly.
Working in
this program mode is helpful when you want to
have a bird's eye-view over a broad category
of life aspects, consisting of several indexes
each, and you also want to compare these
indexes in respect to each other. In this
mode, we have identified some major areas of
life (life-aspects) in which you may be
normally interested to know about. When you
choose a particular area of your life from the
menu, several related indexes are drawn for a
date, simultaneously. Due to this facility, it
is called "multiple aspects mode".
In other words, we can say, it is a group of
indexes drawn simultaneously for each date.
Each of the index in this group will be
representing a very particular life-aspect
related to the broad area of life you have
chosen from the menu. It also makes it easy to
compare various indexes related to the chosen
broad area of life.
Each screen displays results for a single
date, for multiple indices. For viewing
results of next date, push "Next"
button and for going to previous date, push
"Previous"
button, provided at the bottom of the screen.
The actual look and feel of the various
indexes drawn by Vjyotish in this mode looks
like as follows:

| Tailor
made Vjyotish indices |
|
This option is meant for those of you who have some astrological
background. It enables you to let loose your astrological knowledge to take its
fullest advantage with the help of "Vjyotish". Provide your own
astrological parameters to draw indices.
Through this option, you may define required
houses and/or planets, which must be looked
into for deciphering the results of a
particular matter. You may also define their
relative weight, which program should assign
to each of them, individually. |

| Summary
of differences between the "Single life aspects" and
the "Relevant life aspects" or the "Multiple life
aspects" modes:
|
| We
are summarizing here the main differences between the reports
drawn under above mentioned various modes for your convenience.
|
| 1. |
In "Single
life aspect" mode, one life aspect is taken
into account at a time, while in "Relevant life
aspects" or "Multiple life aspects"
mode, several related life aspects are simultaneously
considered for each date. |
| 2. |
In "Single
life aspect" mode, one horizontal bar (red or
green)
depicts the net astrological result for a date of the
considered
life-aspect, while
in "Multiple life aspects" mode, several horizontal
bars (red or green)
are drawn for each date which shows the comparative net
astrological results of so many related matters simultaneously.
In "Relevant life aspects" mode, various
involved issues are astrologically analyzed and results
shown as non-graphic report. |
| 3. |
In "Single
life aspect" mode, the date is shown on the
central vertical column of the index, while in "Multiple
life aspects" mode, the a date is shown on the upper
horizontal axis along with the name of the person.
In "Relevant life aspects" mode, the a date is shown
as the heading of the screen. |
| 4. |
In "Single life aspect" mode, the result (net astrological
conclusion for each date) is shown as a numeric value drawn
as a graph or index, with
their values written on the upper horizontal axis; while in "Multiple aspects mode" the results
are shown as "poor", "inadequate",
"fair", "good" and "excellent".
In "Relevant life aspects"
mode, the results are shown as a number as well as "poor", "inadequate",
"fair", "good" and "excellent". |
|
| Which mode is useful and when?
|
|
The use of
various index drawing modes is quite different. It depends upon circumstances and your requirements at a
particular point of time. Some times, you may require to view
indexes in two or three modes, to get a more clear picture.
When you
are most interested in a very focused life-aspect and wish to analyze
that particular aspect only in great detail, you should choose
"Single
life aspect" mode. The bullish and bearish periods
for the life-aspect of your interest would be clearly visible as "green"
and "red" patches
respectively in the Vjyotish index. The turning points in the
required life-aspect will also be easily identifiable in this
mode.
When you want to have a
bird's eye-view over a
broad region of your life with comparative study of various
shades constituting this region, then, you should opt for
using the "Relevant life aspect"
or the
"Multiple
life aspects"
mode
of the
program.
For
example, In the "Multiple
life aspects" menu, there is a index group, with the heading
- "The
Chanakya in you". The following four indices
form this group:
| 1. |
"Saam"
|
- the policy
of getting work done through brotherhood
|
| 2. |
"Daam"
|
- the policy
of getting work done through money
|
| 3. |
"Dand"
|
- the policy of getting work done through punishment
|
| 4. |
"Bhed"
|
- the policy
of getting work done through creating differences
|
The above four indices (representing four type
of policies) provides you a comparative answer
- as to which policy should be adopted on a
particular date for better dividends. As you know, Chanakya,
the great Indian philosopher, told about four types of policies
("Saam", "Daam", "Dand"
and "Bhed") which a person may adopt under varying
circumstances. Suppose, on a particular date,
your "Bhed-
policy" index is not only green
but also the lengthiest. While the "Daam policy"
index is red with maximum
length. It will clearly provide astrological clue that you should adopt the policy of creating
differences among concerned persons to get your own work done. On the
contrary to it, you should not try to get your
work done
through the help of money (bribery). It may back-lash.
|
|
We
also recommend you to read "How
Vjyotish indices often provide corroborative evidences in
support of a incident". It will provide you an
insight how a particular incident in the life of a person, can
be captured from various angles through Vjyotish.
