Incidents related to Rajiv Gandhi's
assassination |

The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, the sixth Prime Minister of India in an explosion, took place in Sriperumbudur in
Tamil
Nadu, India on
21 May
1991. Rajiv Gandhi's assassination was carried out by LTTE suicide bomber
Thenmozhi Rajaratnam, also known as Dhanu, at 10:21 p.m. At the time India was embroiled, through the Indian Peace Keeping Force, in the Sri Lankan Civil War.
The charge-sheet, filed by the Special Investigation Team, provided a detailed account of how
Prabhakaran
and his
team of leaders of the
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), ordered Rajiv Gandhi's
assassination,
from Jaffna,
the LTTE's
stronghold in Sri Lanka.
The
suicide
bomber Dhanu
(actual
name
Thenmozhi)
detonated the explosive
in her
belt-bomb
that she had strapped around her waist, at
Sriperumbudur
(Tamilnadu). Other co-conspirators in the assasin team were
Sivarasan,
Shanmugam,
Shankar,
Shubha,
Hari
Babu
etc.
The
names of
most of
the key
persons
involved
in assassination
conspiracy,
the
organization
and even
the date
of
assassination
and name
of
State,
when put
to a
Vedic
numerology
analysis

drop of

Gandhi's
