Are
you new to computers and installing Vjyotish?
|
|
|
Thanks for opting to install Vjyotish. Once you have
downloaded "vjinstal.exe" (the installation
file for Vjyotish) to a folder that you will remember (example:
folder TEMP or Download), or to your Desktop, please open this file by double
clicking on it (from the C:\temp or C:\Download folder
or your Desktop). It will install Vjyotish in your
system.

To find the file "VJinstal.exe"
after downloading it, use Windows Explorer.
(Click "Start"
- on the Microsoft Tool Bar, then click "Programs",
finally click "Windows Explorer"
or.
Right click
"Start"
- on the Microsoft Tool Bar, then click "Explore")
Look for "VJinstal.exe"
in the folder where you saved the file. Double click on it
to open.

Follow the simple
instructions, which appears on your computer screen, while
installing the software.
The "VJinstal.exe" will
create a new folder named "Vjyotish\"
in your C: drive
and all needed files will be placed in this
folder.

Running
"Vjyotish"
|
|
Before
starting with VJyotish, we advise you to go through
"User's manual" to get acquainted with the
program.
If you haven't read it yet, read it and save it now in your C:\Vjyotish\
folder for future reference. Alternatively, you may go
through "Readmevj.txt", which will be placed in
your C:\Vjyotish\ folder after installation.
Now you are ready to run
Vjyotish. Please click on Vjyotish icon on your desktop
or open the file "Vjyotish.exe" by
double clicking on it (from the C:\Vjyotish\ directory).

NOTE:

If due to some technical reasons, Vjyotish
icon is not found on your desktop, you may
have to find and run "Vjyotish.exe"
manually (after installing the software).
Follow the simple
instructions as below:

Then, click "Run" |

Type command "C:\Vjyotish\Vjyotish.exe"
in it's "OPEN" dialogue box |

Click "OK"
button to start Vjyotish. |

- on the Microsoft Tool Bar. |

Then
click "Run"
and then click "Browse" [ It will open an "Browse" window].

Now
click down
arrow of "Look in"
option of this "Browse"
window.

Then
click [C:] (icon for C: drive). It will show all the folders existing in
your C: drive.

Find
"Vjyotish"
folder by scrolling the scroll bar in the
"Browse" window.
|

|
Double
click the "Vjyotish"
folder icon. It will show all the files in this
folder.
|
*
|
Now
find the "Vjyotish.exe"
in this folder and double click on it.
It will
bring the "Run" window again with command "C:\Vjyotish\Vjyotish.exe"
written in its "Open" option.

Click
"OK"
button. It will start the Vjyotish program
